Brothers!

What are little boys made of?
Frogs and snails and puppy-dogs' tails,
And that's what little boys are made of.
These two cute boys came in to have their portrait taken.

You can see they enjoyed themselves and let their true personality shine.

Their final performance captured an adorable memory.

Six months later they were back with their baby brother.

Established 1949

Ahrend Studios was originally established by Floyd Ahrend in 1949.
William Ahrend, the current owner of Ahrend Studios, is Floyd's son.
Ahrend Studios believes in making memories through photography.
Ahrend Studios does this by keeping history, their negative files date back to 1954.

This week we had two requests for photos from the 1960's.
One was a family portrait taken in 1961.
The other was two commercial photos taken in 1960.
Both show history, both show changes in life.
One shows a family's story.

One shows a town's story.

Ahrend Studios keeps memories.

Little Fingers and Toes

What can be more precious than a baby. Each little detail is amazing to see, from the wrinkles in their fingers to the swirl of their hair to the belly button.

The expressions on their face change from one moment to the next. If you capture a smile you can't help but feel all is right.

Their loving embrace when snuggling makes you want to take a minute to pause and never let go.

You know life is just better.

Eternal Happiness

Every young lady starts dreaming about her wedding day perhaps as early as age 4. At 4 she may be planning to marry her dad or the boy next door. At age 12, it is the cute boy sitting in front of her in math class and at 16, it is her prom date. When she finally meets Mr. Right, the man of her dreams, her dream wedding can now be a reality.

The plans rotate around the dress, the location, the cake, the flowers and the photographer. The wedding photographer's role is to capture every moment to last a lifetime. The cake will be eaten, the dress will shrink in size, the location will be taken over by another wedding and the flowers will fade. But the images will always be there to reminisce through; to bring laughter, smiles and joy.

Each moment is important, each moment is special, each moment is to be remembered.
