Roman did the New York Session, which included the Yearbook Session, Grunge Session and Outdoor Session at the Park. He loved his pictures and so did his parents. And we here at Ahrend Studios love making everyone happy.

2010 Cute Kids Contest Winners

What a great year this was for Ahrend Studios Cute Kids Contest. We had 79 entries, one of our largest years. There were more sponsors than before, 6. More sponsors meant more prizes and winners, 30 in all. Each sponsor chose 4 winners, one in each age group. We chose 8 winners, two in each age group. And there was 2 People's Choice winners because of the overwhelming voting response.

It really was a fun year. Each child was truly the cutest, which made the choosing extremely difficult. We wanted to give a prize to all of our entries, luckily we can because each participant receives a trophy.

The Treasure of a Lifetime

It may have seemed that the only thing Ahrend Studios has been doing these last few weeks is our annual "Cute Kids Contest", but in between sessions Shelby was able to take a moment and focus on capturing treasured images of precious Raelynn. She is already growing up so fast, that her mother wanted to engrave those baby moments in her mind and the best way was to photograph the images. Ahrend Studios "Tiny Treasure" session did just that. Each laugh, movement, snuggle will now always be there to treasure for a lifetime.

Cute Kids Contest

If you have walked past Ahrend Studios' window at 211 E. Alvarado Street, downtown Fallbrook, you may have noticed pictures of some of Fallbrook's "Cutest Kids." Ahrend Studios' Cute Kids Contest runs annually February through May. It is a fun way for local residents to have their little ones professionally photographed by Fallbrook's favorite hometown photographer at a special price and get a chance to win prizes from several of the local businesses. This year's contest is coming to a close and you can help choose the "People's Choice" award winner!

You can vote 2 ways: In person at any of our sponsors locations: Ahrend Studios (211 E. Alvarado Street), Sweet n' Sassy (1229 S. Mission), The Sweet Sicilian (232 S. Main), Swirlz Candy & Party Emporium (213 N. Main), United Studios of Self Defense (833-E South Main Ave) and The Yogurt Palace (130 S. Main Ave.) or you can vote once on Facebook. Just visit Ahrend Studios Photography page, become a fan (like) and click on the "photos" tab. It will take you to the Cute Kids Contest album, where you can view the entry photos. There you can post the comment "Vote" under any of your favorite kids! You may only vote once per photo via Facebook but you may vote once per day at our local sponsor locations.

The child with the most votes in total will win special prizes from Ahrend Studios and several of this year's sponsors. Voting takes place May 25 through June 4. The winners will be announced in the Village News on June 17.

Senior season is just around the corner and Ahrend Studios is happy to offer updated and new sessions this year. We have 3 outdoor sessions - "Paint the Town", the "Park" and "Downtown". We also offer 7 indoor sessions - "Yearbook", "Magazine", "Grunge", "Motif", "Silhouette", "Black & White" and "Traditional". Just about anything and everything to match your personality and style. The Littlest Cowgirl

Little Samantha came into the studio for her portrait as part of Ahrend Studios Cute Kids Contest. Her mom dressed her up as an adorable cowgirl. She had so much fun and we captured some really fun moments. Shelby (one of our great photographers) put Samantha's images together to make a one of a kind "panel", part of our Bold Expressions special for the month of May.
